I would like to be considered for the post of a qualified nurse in an outpatient’s clinic, medical or surgical wards, emergency department, theater, specialized care units or nursing care home as I have many qualities that I can bring to the role and wish to establish my nursing career in the trust. I have worked in various departments in the hospital and covered different roles for past 10 years. I have learnt to liaise confidently with health professionals on all levels. I demonstrate good interpersonal and communicative skills. My role as a senior staff nurse allowed me the experience to organize shifts efficiently, using own initiative, work unsupervised, and handle work pressure.
I am competent, self-motivated, respectful and responsible. I derive satisfaction from giving out my best. I consider myself physically and mentally suitable for the position, good eye for details, sense of responsibility, able to work unsupervised, work under pressure, prioritize and meet deadline, follow procedures, easily adapts to change, fast learner, punctual, very flexible, good patient care/service skills, excellent communicative and interpersonal skills. I will undertake any training as deemed necessary for the department. I am a good team player and will contribute positively and immensely to improve and maintain the services within the trust for positive patient outcome.
Although being a nurse is challenging and demanding, it is my dream to be part of a team that provides high standard of care to patients. I hope to continue using the knowledge, skills, clinical experience and understanding acquired from the training college and the university to enhance my ability to provide quality, compassionate care that meet the needs of patients always. I love learning and have always taken a proactive approach to developing my knowledge. In addition to offering an enthusiastic and positive care, I am absolutely committed to working with patients, I can offer my experience of dealing with both clinical and administrative duties. My own experience has very much enhanced and shaped my practice, adding another dimension to the care and support I can give to patients. I am prepared to focus through the challenges.
